It’s so nice to get back to journaling. Just writing about my life and my feelings, and I often cross it with writing down my prayers, too.
As a person who stresses easily, I can attest that it does help you feel less anxious about things. Just pouring your heart out to the page and the Lord; getting your thoughts and feelings out. Sure, you have people you feel like you can tell everything to, but what about when you need to vent about them?
It’s freeing. Therapeutic. Writing about your thoughts helps you sort through them and oftentimes it gives me a clearer picture of the situation. Over all, you just feel better.
Sometimes I fall off the wagon, and then I get back into it and wonder why I ever stopped.
